# What is paid chat? How it works and who it's for

Paid chat means selling your time one to one: people pay to talk with you by video, voice or text chat, usually by the minute. ## What is paid chat, in plain words?

Think of it as opening a small shop where the product is your attention. You put up a page with your photo, a line about what people can talk to you about, and a price per minute for each kind of call. When you are online, people tap Call.
