# Talk to fans in 30 languages: live translated subtitles explained

Your audience is global; your voice is in one language. Live translation closes that gap: a fan in São Paulo can talk to a guitar teacher in Madrid, each reading the other in their own language.

## How it works on hello.fan

During a video or voice call, a fan (or a creator) taps **CC**. From that moment, what the other person says appears as subtitles over the video — translated into the language they picked, about a second or two behind the speaker. Thirty languages are supported, from English, Spanish and Portuguese to Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese and Korean.

Text chat during a call is translated too: a message arrives in the reader's language with a small "Translated from Spanish · See original" line under it.

## What the speaker sees

The person speaking sees a short notice that the other side is reading live subtitles. Nothing is recorded or stored, and the translation stops the moment either of you switches it off or the call ends.
